The manager/franchise owner of Pumpkin Cafe, a short blonde woman, is incredibly unpleasant. She speaks to staff and customers in a demeaning manner. Despite giving the cafe multiple chances this year, the behavior has been consistently terrible. It's no surprise that the cafe is mostly empty. Save yourself the abuse and go to Costa around the corner.
Most rude staff ever! Only asked where toilet was !! Blonde female glasses ponytail to be avoided at all costs!!! Other cafes much more friendly . Spoiled a really fab trip!
Arriving off the train from London at Milton Keynes Central we had the choice to grab breakfast either at AMT or the Pumpkin Café. I'm glad we visited this place. The staff are extremely friendly, they double up as guides to help visitors to MK get where they need to go, plus the bacon butties and coffee we had for breakfast hit the spot and tasted good. Although there is a limited selection of sandwiches on offer, they have a good selection of hot and cold drinks- including Naked Juices for the more health conscious. Worth a visit.
I handed the staff member a £10 note, and he claims I only gave him 5. I had just been to the cash point and know for sure it was £10. What got me angry was the arrogant, condescending attitude. If it wasn't for the fact that I had to run to catch my train there would have been hell to pay. It is certainly far from over though! Watch this space.
