Our waiter was attentive and while we didn't sit on the patio it looked welcoming. For restaurant week, they had a cucumber salad with mint and popped wild rice that was just amazing--balanced, refreshing, and full of texture.Vegetarian options: We went for restaurant week and they had one vegetarian option per course, a couple of vegetarian apps, and could make some accommodations for other items on the menu.Parking: There was a tiny parking lot behind the building. It wasn't too busy in the restaurant and I had to park pretty far up the block, so it might be a little precarious at busy times.
I came here with a few friends and enjoyed food and drinks. My Old Fashioned was excellent. I also tried my friends' drinks (Negroni, Ranch Water, and I can't remember the other) and the Ranch Water is the only one I wasn't a huge fan of.I got a burger with JoJo's (potato wedges). The burger was okay but the potatoes were fantastic. Our server did a fantastic job of walking us through a lot of the menu and, per my friends, they rotate and introduce new items often. I also got the dessert (it was unlisted) and it was ice cream with a brownie. This was also excellent and I felt satiated after it was all said and done.I could see myself returning here to try out more drinks. The food was a bit hit or miss but I don't discount TBC for that given the variety of dishes offered. My friends and I had a great time, so 5 stars from me!
I recently discovered this restaurant and couldn't be happier with my first visit. The food was delicious, creative, and beautifully presented. The wine flight paired perfectly with the menu and had a summery feel. Our servers were charming and attentive. We were even surprised with a complimentary pasta dish to try, which was a nice touch. The patio is a peaceful garden oasis, reminiscent of countryside dining in Europe. I can't wait to bring my friends and family back to this delightful spot.
For $45, you can choose from 3 dishes and 3 courses. For $65, you get the entire menu. I may have gout from how good it was. It was a lot of fun. There are vegetarian options for each course.
When the bungalow club first opened my husband and I went thinking it sounded like such a neat place. The first thing the waiter said when we got to the table was that someone else had reserved the table in 40 minutes so we would need to be done by then. There was such a better way to handle the situation like explain it and ask if we were still interested? We have never been back. Food was okay not spectacular and the weight of time was on us for the whole experience.
