The food can be a little expensive, but this is typical of Thai food (at least in America), the ingredients are high quality, and the location is convenient for outlet shoppers. It is cheaper than most greasy seafood restaurants round and the shrimp is better. I tried various dishes and did not disappoint. The classic padthai is quite good and the various mixed vegetable dishes are very good. Some dishes are better than others, so if you are not super impressed give something else a try. I like her, but I have excellent Thai where I live, so I'm a little spoiled. As far as Destin goes, they seem to be the best. I always had an excellent, attentive service.
Very good food. Wanted a night of Thai food and came across this place on a Google search. So we went there with a family and we ordered the yellow curry and some fresh rolls (Spring Rolls). The waiting period was a normal waiting period for each restaurant. But the food quality was very good. If I would recommend some Thai food, that would be the place.
Here from Atlanta, I had a hard time finding a Thai place that was compared to my favorite place in Atlanta. After trying mutiple places in the area, Royal Orchid has by far the best food and hands the best service. I will say that I live spicy food, but from now on I will order mild vs medium....medium is very sharp.
Have been a huge fan of Thai food for years and this is a wonderful restaurant for a nice evening out with something different! I will go back and next time I'm taking friends!
Seemed like a decent place. You have the option to do traditional (sit on a pillow at a low table) or modern seating. The curry was good and Thai tea is alway good. I 'd eat here again.
