Sami's - Mississauga

The Shawarma poutine at this restaurant is incredible. The fries are perfectly crispy and the gravy is delicious. This is the best I've ever had.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Located in an industrial area, my expectations were not high. However, upon entering, I was greeted by a beautiful modern space with an open kitchen. The staff was exceptionally friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of eating at a family kitchen. Watching the food being prepared was a delightful experience, as it looked as delicious as it tasted. The portions were generous and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. For lunchtime visits, it is recommended to arrive before 12:00 or after 12:30 to avoid the rush. Fish is only served on Fridays and is a popular choice among diners. The highlight of my visit was the kind woman who distributed homemade cookies from Syria to diners, which were the best cookies I have ever tasted. Although I was unable to purchase a box of them, I am definitely planning on returning and highly recommend you do the same.

Sami's Kitchen is a hidden gem located in an industrial area in Mississauga. The restaurant has recently been renovated, featuring a modern design in the kitchen and service area. In addition to their popular breakfast and daily homemade specials, they have added an exclusive selection of Middle Eastern cuisine to their menu. The prices are very affordable and the service is friendly and attentive. My wife and I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich and a shawarma poutine. The sandwiches were delicious, but the shawarma poutine was exceptional - one of the best poutines I have ever tasted. It is a must-try dish at Sami's Kitchen.

You don't expect a great felafel plate at a strip mall in an industrial area, but the workers in the neighbourhood know this is a great lunch spot. Daily specials, and a really nice felafel plate with a nice variety of salads and lentil rice.The french fries were also delicious.

It’s a shame it’s not more central, an amazing restaurant fresh cooked made food open kitchen. Had sharwa poutine smells amazing tasted wow amazing they put spicy and garlic sauce on top was so good it’s well worth coming here. I will certainly come again
