Last week we came back and almost everything changed. It's a lot more modern. Food price is increased from past years. It's a good pick if you wants to get Chinese food in Missouri City
I had not eaten here in years, I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the decor is currently. The customer service was patient and friendly. I ordered the lunch special, beef and broccoli. I’d definitely visit again.
They offer complimentary fried rice, and you can also opt for brown rice for an extra charge. The shrimp egg foo young is slightly above average, and your order includes three patties. The general chicken tastes better than its appearance suggests. However, the chicken with broccoli could have had about 10% more; the container wasn't completely full. I feel the same applies to the general chicken, which had a slightly smaller portion than you might find at a Thai restaurant. The egg drop soup was probably the most disappointing part of the meal; it was rather bland. The gravy is thick but has a bit too much soy sauce flavor for my liking.
The restaurant did not manage to get my drink order right. The hot and sour soup was quite bland, while the General Tso's chicken was overcooked, tough, and dried out. The spring roll was acceptable, but the fried rice was rather uninspiring as well.
I always make a stop here when I'm returning to the hill country. There's truly nothing that compares.
