Verde Mare - Miyakojima

I go there every time I hit the island. Probably the best authentic Italian I have ever had in Japan! Superb and super friendly. Lovely to eat outside on the veranda. Even desert was AMAZING!

Delicious Italian food made with fresh and simple ingredients. There are pasta and pizza dishes, served with salad and fresh bread. The owners are great people who put care into the food they make. I'm so glad I came here! We came with friends and ordered the ragu and daily special pasta, as well as the Verde mare pizza and the 4 cheese pizza. Everything was very good.

My favorite Italian restaurant. With many meal options,(even vegetarian and vegan dishes), sharing memories and delicious food is made possible here. Finding fresh and nutritious food is often so difficult when eating at restaurants in Japan, but with the natural, organic, and local products used, Verde Mare is my absolute favorite spot. They serve homemade wheat bread, a variety of coffees and drinks, as well as ice cream and pudding. When family and friends visit, this is my favorite spot to bring them on the way to the beach. Seating is provided both on their patio and inside, so there is always a perfect experience.

The best Italian restaurant on the island at reasonable price. The pizza is superb. The service is excellent.
