I wonder how many other customers just walked away and take their wallets with them? disaster pending. easy because they fail at the tabletop!
We are regulars at this once fine Japanese restaurant but over the past few months our dining experiences have been marred by preference being given to Uber Eats etc. Loyal diners now get very little table service because the already stretched staff are fixated on...the takeaway orders. While the food is still good when it finally arrives we can see a the number of in house diners dwindling at each visit. We know of two other regular parties who will forgo Konnichiwa unless they return to giving priority to their restaurant patrons.
This is the worst sushi restaurant on the beaches. Our order was wrong, staff were underage with broken english, and the management were rude.
Came by chance, we eat a lot in the area but had never heard of here. Great bento boxes, amazing sushi.
The food was good, but the staff in this venue, have never been properly taught how to serve the customer... They are not unhelpful, simply untrained in the pacing of a real sit down meal... delivery times, and when to be invisible, and when to...scurry with a smile! If they can get help with this, they're onto a winner... The owners need to INVEST in proper table service training...or, send this staff to eat in places where the servers are already supreme! Currently, all of my tick boxes are based on the notion that this staff needs improvements- don't tamper with the food...fix the people who wait on the tables...
