This place is awesome!! Insanely good portions for the price and the staff are beyond friendly. Had to get a second round of oysters! Definitely stop by if you are in the area!

Amongst the carefully manicured tourist trap of cannery row, this place sticks out as an authentic hole-in-the-wall. It's one of the few places to get actual local-caught seafood near here and by god it's delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the grilled sablefish, it's divine. Don't balk at the paper plates and rickety tables.

Very good fish restaurant with affordable prices! Rockfish and shrimp, as well as clam chowder delightful, friendly staff and very kid-friendly (which sadly is not a given in seafood restaurants in Monterey).

Monterey for a weekend getaway. After a visit from the aquarium we were looking to have dinner before the drive back home. I gave my husband the option to choose what he wanted to eat. It was between this place and 2 others close by. We ended up stoping by at the places to check them one looked too small for a stroller to fit into and the other place didn't have good ventilation and it was so smoky. So we ended up here and I'm so glad we did. They serve fresh seafood. The guy at the register was really nice and said we could take a seat to look over the menu and order when we were ready. We ordered a clam chowder bread bowl, combination and chips with slaw, Baja fish tacos and Cajun style swordfish. Everything was hot as read in about 15mins. Large portions everything was DELICIOUS.!!! The clam chowder was one of the best I've ever had! The fried fishes, pawns and fries were perfect and they were not drenched in oils the batter had great flavor. The fish tacos were topped with fresh ingredients. The swordfish fish was phenomenal. The place was fairly clean they had condiments at each table. Loved this place highly recommend and can't wait to go back when we're visiting town!

First time here and it was good, we ate outside. Our hotel suggested this place to us as we are from out of state.
