Palax - Monterrey

Un restaurante muy tradicional, es una excelente elección para disfrutar de una deliciosa cena cuando ya todo está cerrado. La comida es muy casera.

Horrible machacado that tastes like fish! Have been eating machado all my life... today i was served the worst i eber tasted. I let the head waiter know ..... but he had literally nothing to say! Replaced with tongue tacos a of for...the tacos. Poor service nothing to make it right.

Went there for lunch after maybe years of my last visit, this is a place frozen in time, no change at all, still same good food and service, no complications in the recipes and good flavor which reminds of meals at home in my youth,...nothing fancy but it delivers.

The portion was HUGE, price is excellent, the quality is perfect. The freshly made corn tortillas was the cherry on top. I highly recommend. The service was bumpy, but because they were busy, but the food totally made up for it. Muchísimas gracias! Buenísima...las comida. Si voy a regresar!

I'm from Monterrey and this was the first time visiting Palax. The place was full so I thought the food would be great, but I was wrong. Yes, there's a lot to choose from, but the food is bland at best. There are many better...places to eat regional food in Monterrey (at the same price). I think this was the average place/food quality standard back in
