It was a Sunday night and all the restaurants in the neighborhood were closed soon at 10 o'clock. So I ended up there with my friends and asked when they would close. The lady soon said, but showed us to the terrace area that was... extremely beautiful. They took our order and served very quickly and did not even say that we will close now/soon, which was really warm and understanding. The food was also really amazing. Would recommend it always!
We were impressed with the restaurant from the moment that we entered the front door. Being English only tourists in Montreal, we were made to feel welcomed upon entering and the hostess assisted us with the translation of the menu and recommending specific specialities of...the restaurant. Food was beyond expectations ! We couldn’t have done better at a 5-star in downtown Montreal. We would have gone back for a second dinner the following night if time would have allowed. It is on our “must do” list when we are in Montreal. Great food and superb service.
We sat in the backyard and had chicken couscous (good , fried calamari (very good and fries with tzatziki (the yumiest! . There was a bachelor party going on and the place vibrated with inuebriated energy. Auprès de ma Blonde is the perfect place for beer and...finger food on a hot Saturday afternoon in the middle of August.
Four of us had lunch here and enjoyed sitting in the front terrace. The brunch menu was exactly what we wanted and the food was tasty. Reasonable prices considering its prime location. However, the staff seemed uninterested despite few customers; we had to ask numerous...times before getting water refills, coffee, etc. Attention to this would be an easy way to bump up its rating.
