Cafe Republique - Montréal

I visited the restaurant in June and tried a crepe that was topped with summer fruits. I was hoping for berries, cherries, or peaches, but instead it was served with sliced apples and grapes. Unfortunately, the dish lacked flavor.

The service at this restaurant is fantastic, with staff fluent in both French and English. They offer a delicious breakfast at a very affordable price. I highly recommend coming here before going to Eggspectation.

We found this place with sheer chance while we try to find a good place for a lunch. It wasn't too full, and we sat right away. I ordered her poutins that came with a green pepper sauce. It was my first poutine, so I didn't really know what to expect; but it was great! It was unconventional because it 't served with fries, but with the cafe 's homemade waffle potatoes.

This restaurant was fine to go to the street on a cool day, but we would not make a special trip to visit. The ambience was chaotic. The food was okay, the portions were generous, the sides were good. I wouldn't go... there is again, but it was okay for a quick lunch.

Old Style decor perfectly located in downtown Montreal right in front of a beautiful park in the middle of all of Montreal's attractions, next to Montreal`s Quebec Province main tourist office ... 4 pleasant visits in 2 months cant be wrong, surprisingly quiet place, great...place to have a quick business meeting or sweet date pas chère ... food is simple yet with a nice twist ... very tasty. Bar serves everything including great alcohol based coffees to your table.
