Being in the business there was a lot of room for improvement, sadly it met all the typical stereotyping of an Indian restaurant, from tables to music and even paying the bill at the bar. Food was good, my wife enjoyed the chicken Sheesh Kebab, the saag Panir was also good, but the praised butter chicken was bland for my taste and experience. Would I revisit the location? Probably not, would I recommend? I would leave it to your discretion.
My collegues and I always go for the butter chicken. That's the main reason we go eat there. And for the naan bread, of course! Of that, we can't get enough! It's perfect for a casual lunch between collegues and friends. Nice service.
The food is excellent, and it's a classic Indian restaurant. While the ambiance isn't perfect, you know what to expect. The staff is very friendly. However, they did turn up the lights at 10 PM, shut off the music, and promptly asked us to leave at 10:30 PM, even though we were celebrating a birthday with 20 people. We still had food on our plates and bottles of wine to finish, but that didn't seem to matter. So, if you're planning to enjoy a leisurely meal, I'd recommend arriving early.
This is my favorite Indian restaurant to order from. I tried lamb thali from another place once when they were closed, and it just didn't compare. I usually order the lamb thali with extra garlic naan and veggie samosas. The prices are great, and the flavors and portion sizes are excellent. I highly recommend it!
I ordered the non-vegetarian thali, and while the butter chicken and naan were delicious, the tandoori chicken piece was quite disappointing and stale.
