The Yakitori set was fabulous, and my friend and I were so impressed that we ended up ordering more dishes to sample.
My brother and I, visiting relatives in Montreal from Toronto, found this izakaya to be the only one still open late on a Sunday. Despite our initial impatience to get a table, the waitresses were very accommodating and friendly. They even provided food recommendations for our relatives, who were not familiar with izakayas. To top it off, they went out of their way to ask the manager/owner if we could purchase t-shirts as souvenirs. The service from all the staff was outstanding and we will definitely be back when we visit Montreal again. Highly recommend!
The best skewers I've ever had in Montreal! The price was very reasonable for the fresh and flavorful marinated meat that made me smile with every bite. The atmosphere was cozy and the menu offered a great selection. The chef even came out to thank us after our meal. This is definitely a must-try restaurant that will have you coming back again and again.
I have been at Otto since the summer 2016 The chef never stop amaze me with his cut of sashimi. The fish are always melt in my mouth maguro yellow tail are my both favorite. I also love their selection of plum wine which we cant find in saq. Its sweet but yet elegant (a bit expansive though) Sometime we just dont want to spend too much money their lamb and chicken yakitori always do the job. Not to mention their Japan curry or the otto gamjatang (soupe) are the best to end the meal. We also love the love from their employes such of nice owner and professional waitress <3
