The food was just great. probably the best refried beans I've ever had from a restaurant. the portions were very generous. the beef burrito was enough for 2 people. if you like a decent kick, the extra hot sauce is very good. for dessert we got the Jango which is fried cheesecake. All I can say to that is YUM! The staff w was relaxed and friendly. If we lived in the area, we would definitely be eating there regularly but we were just passing through. I'd highly recommend this restaurant the fact that it's family owned is a huge plus!!!
Happen to be in the area and wanted some Mexican food for lunch. Saw the rating and decided to try it. I will say the service was quickly and they were friendly. Chips and salsa were fine, nothing mind blowing. The burrito I ordered sounded great on the menu and appears great. The actual flavor and amount of meat actually in it was underwhelming. The place is suitable but nothing amazing stood out.
Absolutely delicious! This is the best Mexican restaurant in Mooresville, and we've sampled quite a bit of Mexican cuisine! I particularly enjoy the quesadillas and fajitas, while my husband can't get enough of the pollo ranchero. The flavors are fantastic, and you definitely get a lot of food for your money!
The "See You Tomorrow" guy from El Cerro Reyes (off Brawley) has opened his own restaurant, and I'm so glad he did! It's a hidden gem located right next to Hot Shots. The food is amazing, and the service is exceptional. The owner's daughter is truly wonderful—always cheerful and incredibly attentive. I highly recommend trying the Chimichanga!
