Golden Corral - Morehead City

One of only two Golden Corral Family Table “themed” Buffets in the country. They did a great job with the conversion to Hurricane Florence. The salad on the salad bar was very "watery" and from the date, but we had great service. With this kind of Golden Corral they have different buffet options and you pay at the end. Our waitress has done great work to explain the changes and how far this facility has come since the hurricane has devastated the area.

This week after months of work because of Hurricane Florence reopened. The prices are good and also the food. Our waitress Brenda was very nice and filled our drinks without asking us. She also helped me with vegetarian breakfast options. We'll go back there with friends and family. Thanks Golden Corral for reopening at this point.

A lot of food. $13.99 for dinner and free refill drinks. We go every time we're in NC. Superb taste Finally got a chance to try the NEW Golden Corral in Moorehead City. Clean made super and food is still spectacular. A big complaint. They hired many new people who seemed lost in their jobs. Much around. We were finished with our meal and couldn't get a person to give us a check. I can see many people without pay because they felt like hostages waiting for untrained employees to give their tabs.

The updated look is much more modern than he was sure. The food is quite good, the rolls are extremely buttery, the pot roast was really good, although some parts were a bit fat, I enjoyed the ice and muddy mix (vanilla ice cream and orange mud) of the chocolate fountain was of course great, crispy with rice, I would like to have strawberries with chocolate, but there was no left. I had one of the assortments of ribs, the floor was hard and chewing, but unlike the taste was good. I can say that there is no great amount of food to choose, but from what my family and I tried it was pretty good. We will definitely come back, but not soon as it is expensive. We definitely ate the money and maybe a bit more.

Great Buffet! Just how I remembered it from when I was younger except even better. A little bit of everything for every taste. The kids had a blast, I don't have picky eaters in my family and everyone ate exactly what they were craving! Prime rib isn't the number one choice cut I normally eat but the meat was perfectly well prepared and delicious. Oh yeah....its ALL YOU CAN EAT! And I did! The staff there was awesome.....from the cashier to the waitress answering our every beckoning call/request. Even the server dishing out the delicious meats was extremely friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this Golden Corral to anyone looking for a good buffet for a good price! Well done Golden Corral of Morehead City. And Thank YOU for a wonderful dining experience!
