Copper Grill is open from Tuesday to Saturday and we had BY FAR the best meal here that we ate while on the island. Friendly staff, good meal size & good value for money especially in comparison to the Fire & Stone restaurant - which was pretty disappointing... Kids can order from the Beach Cafe menu while dining here which was also good
We dined here with a big family group and the food was excellent. My partner and I decided on a shared meal which included sourdough bread (amazing), antipasto platter, steak main meal (mine was a bit overcooked but others at the table had perfectly-cooked steaks), salad, cheese platter and wine. The amount of food for two people could have fed four, however after a day of exploring the island we had built up an appetite. The view of the beach and Moreton Bay was a great backdrop.
Nice food. Beef burgers were $18 for a roll one beef paddy and salad and a chicken BBQ was $23 but included two chicken fillets, jacket potato and salad
$18 for a burger is a bit steep I'll admit however what I did like was that I got to make my own. There was BBQ and tomato sauce and mustard. To add to the burger you could have any of the following, cooked onion, pineapple, cucumber, English spinach, tomato, beetroot, cheese, sour cream and lettuce. I actually used the greens to make a side salad. The burger itself was wonderful, thick and moist. The bun was excellent, not to doughy. Overall I was happy. There were no vegetarian choices i.e. Tofu however there was fish for those veggies that still eat fish.
Expensive good variety ,plenty of seating outdoors or inside ,what you expect from a bistro type meal
