Don't let the facade fool you. Walked in the door and it was clear that no expense was spared on the interior, and then the deck seating overlooking the river! Beautiful! Friendly and gracious staff, delicious food (wife swears the grilled vegetable wrap is the best she's ever had), and very reasonable prices We will return any time we're local. Thank you, Ella's!

I was ready to leave. I was ready to leave it a 1- star review. We were seated outside by our hostess. There were two other tables already seated in our area, each with a different waitress. We watched for 20 minutes as the waitresses continued being very attentive to everyone but us. I was livid. No drinks, no water, we were thirsty! Finally I snagged one of the waitresses and firmly (but admittedly annoyed) told her that we had been waiting and were wondering who our server was. The other waitress came over and also listened. They both realized that they had a misunderstanding and did not realize who was supposed to have us. They promptly brought us drinks, fresh bread, and soon, our food. Our waitress was kind, apologetic, and the other waitress was the manager on duty and gave us dessert on her. They more than made up for the mistake by being genuinely apologetic, kind and rectifying the situation. We would recommend to anyone to go to Ella's, the service is A+

This was the best dining experience we have had over a 2 week stay at Black Lake. We have dined in Alex Bay, Clayton, Ogdensberg, and nothing compares! Amazing service and magnificent culinary skill set at very reasonable prices. Their pasta bar was an experience all in itself. Our server Cassidy was so professional. FIVE STARS!!!!! Service: Dine in
