The venue itself is not very attractive and when we first arrived, we almost left without trying the food. However, a local recommended it to us so we decided to give it a chance. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the food was better than we had anticipated, especially considering the unappealing surroundings.
The restaurant itself is simple and small, with only a limited number of tables. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Although it did take a bit longer than expected, the food was delicious, as another customer pointed out. The paratha, in particular, was exceptional. The portions were generous, and the dishes felt more authentic compared to other curry restaurants that offer similar sauces.
Very nice fresh curry so can take a while to prepare so ring in advance. Definitely the best curry in the Isa.
While passing through Mt Isa, I stumbled upon this restaurant for a quick meal. I decided to dine in, even though the air conditioning was not working properly. The hostess was very helpful and friendly when taking my order. I tried the beef vindaloo, raita, garlic naan, and rice. Overall, the food was decent, but the beef was a bit tough. I would consider eating here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
What is this gem doing in the middle of Mount Isa? The curry is great, the naan magic and the Kashmiri rice perfect, cooked to order and served efficiently with a smile.
