Trackside Bar Grill - Mount Vernon

This is by far the best place to eat in mt. vernon. the fish shed and grilled chicken sandwich are my favourites. the salatable is always fresh and tasty! highly recommended.

Ordered the salad bar and had to ask for plates. Ordered a 30 steak medium and it came well done...like it was hard to chew. I informed the waitress and her reply was I'm sorry . No attempt to take it off my bill or offer something else. So much for a nice Valentine's Day dinner... and after a 60 check, I'm still hungry!

Great atmosphere For all you won't be disappointed. The steaks are great and also catfish chunks and wings one of the favorites. If you're looking for a good drink ask for Tosh. The margaritas are awesome

Went in, ordered a beer and a steak. Went to the salad bar and let the waitress know that I wanted to add the salad to the steak as one of my side choices. Waited for an hour, no steak. Watched multiple tables come in after me, order, and get their meals. Finally, I asked the waitress to close me out for the beers and the salad. She asked if I still wanted my steak, it turned out that my steak order was never turned in. Didn't feel like waiting another hour for a 22 steak that may or may not ever show up.

Great bar food. Simple Salad Bar BUT very fresh. No left over ingredients from yesterday. Our service was excellent, would hope it's always that good.
