Our blessing was exceptional, professional and their suggestions were on site. I was “umming” with every bite. Definitely this restaurant is in my Top 5 list. Will share this “Eating Juwel” with everyone and everyone.
Consistently amazing food and great service. The seared rare filet mignon sashimi was superb. The Manhattan — absolutely perfect. Cannot wait to come back.
Always a favorite of myself and my wife great for special occasions or a date night highly recommend
Took my wife for Valentine 's Day dinner. First clue should have been ability to get a reservation just a few days before! Service was poor for fine dining restaurant. Appetizer Lobster Bisque delivered by Food runner ? without a spoon. Took 4 5 minutes before finally flagging down busboy to get one. After clearing appetizer plates course #2 , we were brought the first course amuse bouche again. We sent it back. Later the waitress came by to ask if we had received our Caesar Salad not what we ordered! and we told her we were waiting for the entrees and a glass of wine ordered 15 mins earlier. 5 minutes later a young man brought us 1 caesar salad, which we sent back. Finally our entrees arrived Crab cake and Ribeye , but still no glass of wine. Eventually our waitress brought it and thanked me for my patience seemed very insincere! Meanwhile, an older couple seated next to us and apparent regulars as they were quite friendly with the Owner as well as one particular waiter, were loudly and visibly agitated at the two previous attempts to deliver her Gluten Free Caesar Salad and her husband 's salad with Oil Vinegar on the side! Eventually we were on to dessert and once again, our waitress stopped by to ask if we were ready for two items we had not ordered. We corrected her and they were brought shortly after. The food was very good no complaints about the food. However, prices were exorbitant for what it was. Our 2 x $90 Prix Fixe meal came to $285 with 3 drinks. While we were aware that there were surcharges on several of the menu choices we made, I was not expecting $25/glass for wine that retails for $33/bottle Dutton Ranch Chardonnay Russian River Valley ! Our waitress did inform us that a 20% gratuity was automatically included as well. Then I noticed a 3% Transaction fee calculated on the food/drink, state tax and liquor tax, but not on gratuity. Bottom line good food ruined by subpar service and overpricing $374 total !
It was our first time there, celebrating my fiancé’s birthday. We were seated in this quiet little room where everyone could hear our conversation. Then when we moved to a more suitable spot, it took forever before we were waited on. We had to ask did they have bread because the food took a little long, and was told we had to pay for it. That wasn’t an issue, but I would’ve much rather made the decision to have bread or not on my own. The bread came out cold. We also asked about fresh lemonade, and was brought out fountain lemonade. Our appetizer was really good! We had fries, and shrimp spring rolls. They were both 10/10. Our entree’s I would say were 8/10. I would go with my friends, or a dinner party, but not on a date with my man at all.
