Mt Carroll Cafe

Great place with great food at great prices. Me and the family order a few times a month here and have yet to be dissatisfied.Decent selection of entrees and their sandwiches,wraps, and burgers are delicious. The fries are amazing, as well as the pickles. Friendly waitstaff and kitchen crew that always deliver the goods (extra sauces or anything have always been given).The chicken strips and J sauce are as good or better than any I've had in the area.They close up early (7pm) and offer pickup and dine in. They place is immaculately clean and inviting.5

Very nice little cafe! The classic architecture on the outside of the building was really impressive, located in the historic section of town. The food was tasty and at a good price, and the staff were very polite....would definitely recommend!

Always a good beef wrap. Star deductions for the waitress with the tattoo band around her arm that another reviewer mentioned a year ago. She's still there. Unbelievable. A wardrobe makeover might help a 1/2 star. We almost walked out but another waitress came over just in time. Makes you wonder if they care about anything. Why are there individually wrapped homemade cinnamon rolls just thrown haphazardly into the bottom of the pastry fridge?
