Fatguy Barbecue Kwik Sak - Murfreesboro

I had to work in Murfreesboro yesterday and one of my co-workers recommended this place for lunch. It was the bomb! And less than a 5 minute walk from my workplace. Do not let it scare you that this is inside a gas station, it 's more like a BBQ restaurant that sells fuel than vice-versa I assure you. Fast, friendly, and courteous service with large portions and very reasonable prices. I ordered the Cowboy Nachos, they will make that dish with any meat and you choose the toppings. I selected sausage, cheese, salsa, BBQ sauce, beans, and it was A , really perfect, and just under $10 including tax. I 'd like to try something different next time I have to go to the Boro, but this was so tasty I might have to order it again. I noticed they have a meat and 2 vegetable plate, meats by the pounds, sandwiches, and the menu is just the right size. Their sign inside reads, Come in as a customer, leave as a friend . That sums up this place in one sentence. Try it, I feel confident you 'll like it!

I?ve never had bbq this good. It does not look like a place where you would find good food and good service but Fat Guys BBQ delivers! Words really can?t describe the taste of the bbq here so be sure to come in and try it for your self! Here?s a picture of my Pork BBQ sandwich. Trust me when I say it did not survive.

My wife and I tried this place for breakfast yesterday morning. Veteran owned and operated. Ray and his guys are so nice and welcoming! My wife ordered the breakfast tacos and I ordered a sausage/egg/cheese biscuit. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had in a very long time!! I loved it so much, that I brought my dad back this morning for breakfast. And just like yesterday, the food did not disappoint! You wouldn?t think of having an awesome meal and conversation in a gas station, but do yourself a favor and go here!! As the owner, Ray, says, ? it?s not a gas station that sells BBQ, we are a BBQ restaurant that happens to sell gas.? I have definitely found my new favorite breakfast place!

Taste some of the best food in Murfreesboro at Fat Guy?s BBQ in the Kwik Sak! Try the Fat Guy Slammer a sandwich with pulled pork, brisket AND smoked sausage. Incredible. A meaty feast. The chicken and collard greens are excellent it?s all good! I definitely appreciate that I can pull in and get smoked meats and good vegetables with a quickness for lunch. Depending what day it is, Fat Guy may have smoked meatloaf, pork chops, loaded baked potatoes, fish. Good stuff.

Pork is super juicy, saug is perfectly spiced, I think they stole my grandma's greens recipe, cornbread and mac&cheese perfect. Also got banana pudding, missing bananas but still good. I wish I lived next door.
