It was perfectly roasted. The serving sizes were right! The drinks were amazing. You can't go wrong with Tupelo Honey.
Usually our trips to Tupelo Honey are excellent. Yesterday the culinary visit was an exception with two problems. My wife asked for crispy bacon on her sandwich. Two of the pieces came from medium rarely. She is always hesitant to complain in a restaurant and be afraid that her substitute food could have a retribution. Anyway, it must be the first time right. After a discussion about options with the server, she decided to order only a regular, classic margarita. After departure I checked the bill (which I should have done in the restaurant) and found that it was calculated for the premium Tupelo margarita. Hopefully the next visit will be back in place.
Our first Tupelo visit and it was great. Delicious food.
Biscuits were good, but Chicken Tortilla soup was very good. I had to die for Fried chicken sandwich on a Brioche back with crispy bacon. The best were the avocado slices served on the Cobb salad. We enjoyed the menu selection so much that we ordered the dessert. Our server Jeanne was really great.
Hosted out of town guests — took them to Tupelo because of atmosphere, service and Southern food. Loved the fried green tomatoes and Southern chicken BLT. The chicken and waffles were too Spicy — had a hard time with those . Overall , nice evening and great service
