The smell alone in this place will send your senses into overload of bliss. We wereup early and out the door of our AirBnB (8 AM), we asked a local walker where to get decent coffee and she recommendedSift. Evidently we hit a sweet spot arrival time on a Friday morning in August, because normally there is a line out the door.We did not experience that. The young lady that helped us was very sweet and efficient. The baked goods were super highquality. You can separate the tastes and textures as you enjoy. Party in my mouth. Highly recommend!!
Sift truly was amazing! It was worth all the hype we heard about it and then some honestly! The line was out the door but within 5 minutes we were ordering our food! Staff was super nice and recommended some options. We got 2 iced coffees and decided on thecinnamon roll center and avocado toast but it was so hard to decide cause everything looked so delicious!! It was SO GOOD ????Will definitely go back if we're in town. Such a good experience!

It is a must do when in Mystic! When a famous baker sets up shop, it's gonna be amazing. The hard part is deciding what to get! We all wanted the macarons and the flavors are unique! Also had an almond croissant--just wow. Haven't had anything bad! Enjoy!
I bicycle to Mystic once a year and, for the past few years, have always looked forward to ending one of my nights at Sift. I 've had some phenomenal baked goods in my life, so I 'm not going to go overboard and say that Sift is the best bakery I 've ever been to; however, I WILL say that it 's right up there with the best. Aside from the brownies and other pastries, it 's the VIBE of Sift that accounts for about 80% of its awesomeness. Located just off Rt. 1 in downtown Mystic, within a short walk of some really good restaurants, it has a wraparound porch with outdoor seating that 's ideal for people watching. At certain times of the day, the bells of a nearby church can almost lull you to sleep while you 're sipping your coffee. The line at Sift can be long, and in my experience, they often run out of stuff well before closing time, but it should be noted that my experience is pretty much limited to Sunday and Monday nights. Overall, I highly recommend Sift to all Mystic visitors.
