I would of paid $4 or $5 less for my large hot and sour tofu soup up the street at Phovta (family emergency had them closed) $20 for a soup is insane, avoid this place. Came with no cutlery and no rice noodles just bean sprouts. (full side of rice noodles at Phovta) This is my second and last time going to this restaurant. No wonder it was empty. Ps....you can 't have a medium without a small and a large. Just sayin
Meh $15 for a large pho is already fairly steep. Pho is my goto meal on a new city when given the option, I'm no expert....however Broth was decent but the adds were very skimpy. No basil, the smallest lime(1/2 of an 1/4 wedge at best) I've ever seen, no jalepeno, scant bean sprouts combined with a very small amount of beef. No ice, no water refill, just collect money after food dropped off. Won't be back, probably better options and value
I was introduced to Vietnamese Subs by my brother when I moved to Vancouver. Eaten many in East Van from several places so I have a good frame of reference for this review. Over the last 4 or so years I have eaten dozens of subs from them. Going to have 2 more today. They are awesome and so are the couple who own the place. I was talking to my friend at the gym and mentioned the place and she said she goes there often with her husband and loves their spring rolls etc. So I think my experiences adds credence to my 5 star review.
My friends and I are here last night. Two of us had the rare beef soup with meatballs, and we both wound up with a terrible bout of food poisoning. Diarrhea, vomiting, chills, the whole nine. DO NOT EAT HERE. Terrible service, and the food will make you sick.
Save your money go to McDonald’s for better service, price, atmosphere, and sadly food quality. Must pay for good reviews
