Nappanee Bakery

My husband and I were in the area for a fun weekend break. We drove past this common building/indoor mall and had to check it. It was so cute and picturesque with shops from antiques to fashion, purses, jewelry, even some gorgeous live records of different trees to make in tables, etc. One place where you can't say enough is the Nappanee bakery in the building. Everything looked fresh and delicious. I bought a loaf of white and wheat bread with a dozen yeast rolls. Let me tell you that these rolls and bread were the most delicious fresh tasting bread I've ever eaten. I just wish I could order it and send it. If you are a person who prefers light and airy bread, then that is not for you. But if you like a beautiful heavy heart bread, then you will not be disappointed. Enjoy his really fantastic. I literally drive up there, about 1 1/2 hours this weekend to get more. Yes I frozen the reels and when I need them, I looked them up and still turned out fantastic

I coordinated food for a funeral dinner and Marilyn and the rest of the staff in Nappanee Bakery were extremely helpful and friendly, making the process very easy. Not to mention that the food was delicious!

Nice lunch in bakery and ice cream in Rocket Science!! The best!

I always love coming here. It is such a neat and unique place. Their lunch is delicious with sandwiches and different sides. The eating area is huge. I like the piano and seating area too. The baked goods are always delicious. I just wish they were open on Sundays and Mondays : oh well.
