I ordered the lucayana? sprit salat and I loved it! sliced mand, small orange and really tender chicken breast over salat make a delicious combination. casual dress fits well.
I was a bit weary to give it a try. It's a Caribbean themed restaurant but I didn't really see any minorities working nor in the kitchen. I had the rotisserie chicken and black bean salad. It was decent. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. If you're looking for some true, authentic Caribbean type of flavor then this probably would not be the place for you. If you want some fresh, decent chicken and sides then I would recommend giving it a try. They're customer service is good, there's lots of seating inside and outside, there's free parking, and they're pretty fast. I went on a Saturday and my order was up almost as quickly as I placed it.
Awesome, laid back and friendly spot! Great place for a light and healthier bite as well! Nothing really makes it stand out other than the friendly staff, but it was a solid meal!
Good food, but the jerk chicken had been over hyped. The sides were fantastic. It is a nice diversion from the Nashville Hot Chicken scene. I have noticed the prices have started to rise a bit as well.... Guess we all pay for higher fuel prices.
Place is ok. The greens and sweet potatoes where great but they gave me the wrong order and the chicken salad that they ended up giving me had pineapple it which I’m not a fan of for my chicken salad. Decor is lacking though on the ins side and needs some TLC. Overall it’s decent and a quick place for lunch if you wanna try it.
