Old Hickory Steakhouse at Gaylord Opryland

Paul from Rhode Island was our waiter. Paul, was funny, knowledgeable and just all around a delight. I didn’t want to leave the restaurant.

I know my steaks and the “chefs special” was the toughest day dry aged steak I’ve ever had. Fortunately they brought me out a filet that was amazing. Mac cheese was amazing. Bread was cold and average. Potato wedges were worthy of KFC . Pork Belly was the best! Service was great. If I went back I’d order the filet Mac cheese. I was surprised that the chef asked other tables how their food was, but not ours and not one manager asked us if we enjoyed our meal as we left and walked right by them.

Its our favorite place to splurge when in Nashville.
