First time here..my sister was visiting from out of town and wanted to try something new. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. I felt like I was being served by friends in their home. The fried green tomatoes where..”chefs kiss”. I’m definitely going back again and again.
Hole in the wall kind of place which we usually swoon over. It was chaos. No clear understanding of where to enter or who was seating. We settled in inside at a window table. Server took forever to get our order. Luckily the person seating us grabbed us coffee and water. My coffee cup was chipped and has lipstick all over it.
Food was good. Coffee was very weak, and considering they served it in a Bongo Java cup, they may want to not dilute it so much. It makes bongo look bad, which traditionally is not the case.
We are out back the flies were so bad. Our waitress was friendly, but not attentive. We had to ask to order, silverware, plates, the check, cleared our own table due to the flies. The blueberry donut was yummy. Our other food was just ok.
