I would not return for a meal, but I cannot knock the location and landscape, so a beer would be appropriate.
The quality of the food served was great, service attentive and friendly, but score averaged because I found the price / quality from the balance
We have dined at wild water after a long day on the German waterway and the dinner was a real tasty bite! we had luck catching the Chanterelles specialties, but the main menu is also very solid and impressive. all the foods were cooked with excellent...and an innovative and thoughtful presentation. the winzerlist is something on the short side, but with 5 local feeders be hardly a disappointment to choose.
If you want4 star gourmet menu for a 2 star price, here it is. in the course of my life I was in many restaurants. that was one of the best I ever had. very unpredictable, but beautiful. the whole atmosphere. is welcoming and welcoming. I want to eat it. especially the fish.
I attended a group dinner. The place seems a pleasant stop while strolling waterside, but I have my doubts about their ability to provide quality food and service to catered events. A second group was in another room. The buffet shared between us. The food...was generally poor quality, something out of a school cafeteria of yesteryear. All the meats and fish were cooked into oblivion, and the general quality of ingredients was substandard for this lovely farming region of Germany. Drink orders were few and far between, because the waitstaff just don't seem to be attentive. They were friendly enough, but either they were stretched too thin or multi-tasking inefficiently. Everyone knows restaurants make a lot of money on alcohol. I wouldn't return for a meal, but I can't knock the location and scenery, so a beer would be appropriate.
