Nicks114cafe - New Cumberland

Nicks has been a favorite of mine for about 20 years now! Always great food and great service. I live in another state now but I'm sure to swing by when I'm in town visiting family!

The bartenders are the worst personally of any place I have been they should do another job

I was in a party of 7. I had the gyro with a side greek salad. To try something different, I got the blackened chicken for the gyro. The salad was pretty tasty. However, the chicken was very much overcooked. The lettuce in the gyro was wilted. I would not order a gyro from there again. Those that ordered the lobster roll, stuffed shrimp and the 114 Salad were pleased with their meals. We ordered brownies and ice cream for dessert. It was okay. The brownies were pretty big. The texture though was more like cake. The server was excellent. She was very attentive, pleasant and helpful. Although I did not care for the gyro, I would definitely go back to try another dish.

Had a lunch outing today and I must say it was a pretty good experience food wise. I ordered the Sriracha bourbon wings and they were very good flavorful. I thought I was gonna get a bit more spice but overall very good. Sweet potato fries could have used some seasoning but they were cooked well. Ordered a bulleit bourbon with ginger ale. Superb! This drink was well worth the money. As a matter of fact ordered 2. The place could use some updating. It smelled musty when you walked in. The waitress our table had not sure if she was having a bad day, didn't want to be at work or serve as many people were there, whatever the case she could use a lesson in attitude and manners. Rushing someone to hurry up and order like we were inconveniencing her was a bit wild. Overall, when I am back in town I would go back and eat here and you should try it also.

Pretty damn good burgers. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Place is clean. Really have nothing bad to say at all.
