Everything was delicious. It was the first time for my daughter and her girlfriends. They all agreed one of the best meals and experiences they have had. Keira took care of us and was excellent. She made everything feel effortless. Great vibe all around. Highly recommend.
The kale salad was delightful, and the mushroom pizza uniquely full of flavor and delicious!
Overall, we liked Sofia's... it was good. The service was great, and the restaurant itself was attractive and comfortable. The food tasted great, and the GF crust was one of the best I've had... We had 2 pizzas and 2 drinks for $80+, so the value is the primary issue, especially considering that the pizzas were sparsely populated with toppings. Add more toppings, and or lower the price, and the value goes up.
Overall, I dont know how this place has such high ratings. Service was not great the hostess was unfriendly no cordial greeting seemed bothered having to sit us. Red wine by the glass, cab pino tasted like cheap wine. Appetizers were great meatballs bruschetta. Shared pistachio pesto entree, which was also very good, but we waited a long while for the dish to be served. Waitress recommended dessert Pistachio cake is more banana bread consistency w/whip on the side then it is cake . Waitress did not come around often, nor did anyone else to get water refilled. The place seems understaffed staff stressed. I wouldn 't recommend it, nor visit again.
We had the meatballs starter , delicious sauce was the key, perfect balance. Portions were on the smaller side I must say but overall excellent food and service.
