Salt New Plymouth

My fiancé Kieran and I had our engagement party at this restaurant last night and we were beyond satisfied! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lovely. We are grateful for how smoothly our night went and we highly recommend this place! The Hour Glass has always been one of our top choices and we will certainly be returning.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at The Hour Glass and it was a fantastic experience. The service was top-notch and the food was delicious. We had an amazing evening and everything was perfect. The Hour Glass is definitely my favorite place in New Plymouth and I highly recommend it to others. Well done to the staff for doing such a great job!

The food at this restaurant was both beautiful and delicious. The dishes were creative, and we even tried a dish with grasshoppers, which was interesting. The ambiance of the place was lovely, and we felt very relaxed while dining there. The service was excellent, with friendly staff members who all wore smiles. The prices were reasonable, and they had a great selection of quality wines to choose from.

Incredibly fantastic service they took us in a very busy night and looked brilliantly around us. the tapas are very good priced and beautifully presented six among two adults and a child went a long way, although we had the chocolate pudding for dessert, so had to save space for it. the cheese plate was a very generous portion./ one or two of the taste combinations were not quite right for our taste directions, e.g. the pulled porosalate tassen were a little too bbq’y for something that is normal is quite light/fresh and Asian/Mexicon, but the cook showed a definitiw a quantity of porosity.

Attentive staff. Food was average. Maybe it’s what I ordered. But I was not impressed. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
