Contribuer aux commentairesI tried Angel for dinner but didn't have a reservation. I sat in the auxillary wooden structure on the side of the road. The atmosphere wasn't great but that's where the food stepped up.You are bought complimentary papadam. It's a super light chip that comes with a green dipping sauce. A great way to start the meal.I ordered the lamb Rogan Josh and garlic naan. The food came out very quickly and extremely hot, to the point that I nearly burned my mouth. The garlic naan was outstanding super light, great crunch. This is a must get.Service was quick and efficient. If you dine there try to get a seat on the inside.
Truly one of the best Indian restaurants in the NYC area! I recommend you start with chaat and try their homemade paneer tandoor. Insane flavors and truly authentic. I liked the spice and stuffing in their pani puri and bhel puri. Being Hyderabadi I still enjoyed their goat biryani and the spices so I would recommend it. The cheese naan with butter chicken was a great combo and we had no more space for deserts. BYOB as well!
Such an Authentic spot! You'll remember this food-The Paneer appetizer is WILD! It arrives like a fajita in a giant cloud of smoke spice that will choke your table-mates. You'll cough tear up, but the is only a 4/10 once you're eating the cheesy goodness.-The Dum Briyani come out like a meat rice pot pie that they cut open at the table. Beautiful, impressive and delicious, 7/10 Spice that builds but never goes too far-Vegetable Moille is one of the few things that can be completely mild. Savory creamy vegetable goodness, 0/10 spice-Butter chicken is rich, closer to a 3/10 spice-The Garlic Naan is like looking at a paintingAmbiance is not the goal here, the focus is completely on the food. Just regular tables chairs, no tablecloths, great staff, and really delicious.
Very very delicious food.I love the complimentary crispy big sheet crackers the Most.Chicken dum biryani is so good.Prawn curry, the curry is very tasty flavorful. The garlic Naan, better than thin crust pizza. Will Be back for sure.
Best Indian food I’ve ever had!!!! So authentic. The butter chicken and the biryani were out of this world!!!
