Food was Amazing and so affordable, it's a small place so depending on the time you go it could be a little bit of a wait time .
100/10. The food was amazing, packed with flavor and well textured. Arrived an hour before closing time and the place was full. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and go again.
My first visit. Tasted the roasted pork shoulder with plantain which is rather unique to Puerto Rican and fried chicken with yellow rice which are the same as served in other restaurants. But the West Indian sauce is really nice and adds to the taste of fried chicken. This is a small eatery with limited seating capacity. It has nevertheless a wonderful character.
Classic, genuine, local family run restaurant serving up all the Cuban classics. Very relaxed and low key food is delicious and affordable. Also feels good to support local business that's been around a while. Visit and enjoy! I usually get fried plantains and Cuban sandwich
I am a Puerto Rican that is married with a lovely Russian man and who is finally moving in to NYC after years coming to the city for, sometimes long or short visits, and I have to say this: I am so grateful and satisfied of having found this gem of spot.
