I grew up on nandos and was expecting something similar. Presentation first of all is a 0. The Quarter Chicken looks burnt and oversauced. I got the garlic and herb. I was expecting a drier rub. Also got the spicy rice and its not spicy. Barely has taste but can be compensated with the chicken sauce. The only 10/10 are the Seasoned Fries! I'll give them that!! Overall, I regret spending my money. Now I see why its not that expensive. You get what you pay for.
I'm Portuguese and this isn't what Portuguese food is let alone piri piri chicken is. Sauce was not good. Is not a homage to Portuguese or Indian flavors. Asked for chicken tenders they give me a whole breast. The rice was flavorless. Asked for a side salad and got just chopped iceberg lettuce. Very poor experience. Won’t order again.
It took way too long for it to be made. Burger was salty but the Chicken Bites tasted great even when reheated after
During a recent trip to the city, my family and friends decided to grab a bite to eat at Frangos Peri Peri. The atmosphere was nice, with a dimly lit and relaxing environment. However, I was disappointed with both the service and the food. The waiter was a bit hard to understand, but he did his job adequately. I ordered the chicken bites with extra hot sauce, but was severely let down. The sauce was overly tangy and lacked the promised spiciness, instead being overloaded with salt. The soda machine was also not working properly, with flat flavors. I would recommend avoiding the Extra Spicy option, as it is more of a sodium-packed flavor explosion than true heat. Hopefully, other menu items offer a better experience, but mine was not very enjoyable.
