Was immediately switched off by the hostess. we had reserved 2 people. she looked upset and nodded in direction table between 8 women sitting outside and a group of 8 people. never gave us menu, never asked if table ok. I recognize a sportable that took so high noise levels but could not come past the hostess. regular waiting staff was in order.
Mcgettigan’s has a beautiful atmosphere with many HD tvs close by. the manager/avner was very nice to change the channel to my lust when I came to watch the Rangers game. drinks were good and cheap during the happy hour. only what I didn't like was the sliders I ordered. they were very easy and too dry for my pleasure. I think $14 for 3 slider is also a bit steep. I pay $2.50 per slider, which is much better tasting at others. overall the place is great and I will definitely be back for another game. !
Great place to meet friends for a sporting event. service was very good and the prices were fair for Mid-Manhattan. would return to this pub. in the land of many irish pubs that was a good sound. before they were there and will be next trip back to nyc.
The layout allowed for private group spots as well as being part of the action. Service was great. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent. Our group of four had a great time. Will recommend to friends.
