Vero Uptown - New York

There was no waitress at the restaurant, so it took 15 minutes for someone to finally take our order. The drinks we ordered were terrible, poorly garnished, and it seemed like the bartender didn't know what they were doing. The front staff were also seen hanging out at the bar, drinking instead of working.

The food was excellent, the waiter was entertaining and helpful. All four of us enjoyed our meals. We were given an opportunity to chat, without feeling pressure to leave.

I've been going here for a while and the menu has definitely improved as of recently. Definitely recommend trying out the meatball panini!

This restaurant is closed; we came and there were brown paper that covered the windows. thanks for ruining our Sunday plans.

I was not very impressed by Vero. I thought their sangria was overly sweet and tasted like it didn't even have any alcohol in it. The food was just okay. I went here for dinner on a weekend and it was pretty dead. The only time I'd ever come back here is for their happy hour deal.
