The falafel was good quality, the bread and pita were delicious, and I really loved my lentil soup. The portions were good for the price, and the location was clean. Good quick stop for middle eastern food !
Have you ever walked past a place a hundred times, looked in and never actually walked in? Then, someone from work, goes there to lunch and brings back the most amazing thing and you realize that you might have been missing out. Well, that 's what happened to me with Nanoosh! This location is close to many amazing restaurants, and so I 've passed it up more times than I can count, mostly because I 'm a creature of habit. Today my boss brought back a Protien Plate and it looked fantastic! I had to go and get one of my own and now I 'm hooked. I had the protien plate with the power greens, chicken, chick peas, hummus, added avocado and the citrus dressing and it was a knock-out! Everything is so fresh and even to go it is well plated so that it is visually appealing. I also go their rice pudding with almonds and it was a delight. Not too sweet, but with the crunch of almonds, it 's a dessert I could enjoy regularly...and just might! I strongly recommend this place if you enjoy Mediterranean food or just fresh ingredients, prepared well!
I used to come her regularly when I worked in the area and loved it. I was surprised at the marginal reviews when I was in the area, but I was feening for the red pepper hummus. The menu has changed and my go to meal was no longer clearly on the menu (I may have been able to put it together, but that seemed too costly). I settled for the hummus I came for without the bowl option I used to get. The hummus was satisfying with the warm pita, as before. My biggest complaint is that it was over $10 for only that without a drink. While I still enjoyed my meal, I am disappointed that the menu is confusing and the cost for a complete meal is now over $15. Never mind a beverage. For that reason, I give it 4 stars, though prefer 3.5, which is not selectable. So I round up. Again, my meal was delicious, but I didn 't have a drink. They may do better to make the menu clearer and making it more affordable to attract more business.
I stopped in to Nanoosh for an un-sad desk lunch and a quick pit stop before boarding the Q32 to work. The staff is extremely friendly, they smile with their eyes. I ordered the lentil soup (hearty and healthy) and took the nice gentleman 's suggestion for the bread. I went to the facilities after placing my order clean and orderly). As soon as I came out my order was ready and I was even offered a fresh baked potato! I was super excited! I went to the bus and came to work. The flavors are great but the soup needs to cook longer, the peas are still shell-y or coarse. The bread was tasty, but the pita was whole wheat.... I 'm allergic and sad. Will surly stop by again for the friendly service.
I've had a lot of Mediterranean bowls but never one as wholesome as the one from Nanoosh. The rice and quinoa bowls are served with generous amounts of sauces and spreads and the proteins are fresh and organic! I got a baked falafel bowl with avocado sauce, hummus and tatziki on quinoa I
