It's a place you can bring your furry friend and hang out with your human friends while the Bark Rangers take care of your pup, OR, just a bunch more furry friends. The food is good and the drinks are pretty cheap! If you are there when it is raining, beer is only $1Parking: There is a TON of parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome at Solo's.
My name is Dolly Pawton, and I LOVE going to Solo's! It is so fun to meet new dog friends, play in the pool in the warmer months, while my mom sips rose out of a can in the fancy Adirondack chairs! The food is pretty good! The chicken wrap is my mom's fave, and they have crinkle fries, Those are the best! They also have a good selection of appetizers if you are just looking for a fun after noon snack while your furry friend runs around like an idiot! Love this place! Highly recommend! The owners and the staff are awesome! It's even where I have my birthday PAWty every year!! I also love that there is plenty of stuff for mom to do while I run around. They have trivia nights, Singo nights, burger special nights, and I think they even still have a happy hour during the week! Go check it out! I even have a drink there! It's called the Dolly Pawton! Enjoy!!Parking: plenty of spots!
Came here for Twilight trivia night and have some fun with friends and watch some dogs. I understand a themed night like this is gonna be busy (especially with something as popular as Twilight) but they were very ill-prepared for the night. No fault of the staff but the management. The staff very clearly did the best they could. The first and most shocking to me is they advertised for Twilight-themed drinks but upon ordering they said they didn’t have any of the sort. That is the very definition of false advertising. Did y’all say that just to get people in the door? Second, your bartenders should not also be your waiters on such a busy night like this. Y’all definitely needed more staff or something. Third, again I understand it was busy but we had to stop and already passing waiter to even order. It took us around 30 minutes to even order, much less get our food and drinks. Not to mention it was probably the waiter’s first or second day, poor guy. I felt so bad for that guy because he was definitely NEW. We stayed for the trivia but left mid-trivia because it was so lame and not worth a gift card to a place I was already unimpressed with. Speaking of closing tabs, they gave one of my friends a card that didn’t belong to them. Thankfully, it belonged my friend who hadn’t walked up to the bar yet but still, what if y’all gave that card to a complete stranger?Anyways I should’ve spent my Friday night a completely different way to where I’d actually have fun.
We came for twilight trivia night! They promised trivia and twilight themed drinks but sadly only had the trivia. The staff said they actually hadn't been told anything about themed drinks but multiple people had asked so that was disappointing. Top three trivia winners were given prizes, the way they operated trivia was chaotic. People were cheating all around us and it just simply wasn't fun. The food was subpar but I really enjoyed the drinks! They were delicious. Service was slow but they were packed. Seeing the dogs having fun was probably the highlight of my visit!
Extremely disappointed in the service. Waited almost an hour for a bartender to take our order. We even asked the bartenders if they could take our order and not one person did until almost an hour later. Will not be back.
