Koinonia - Newark and Sherwood

The food here was delicious. The only downside was that we arrived at nine and two members off staff told us that they closed at ten. We ate our lovely meal and left at 9:45 with the staff cleaning up around us.

Koinonia has wonderful service. They're always pleasant and friendly, and I've never been left waiting wanting wait staff to come. The food is great, with the dosa being my favourite at the moment. Over the past few years they've added more vegan options to their menu.

I have eaten here many times and the food is consistently excellent. There are several veggie dishes on the menu, and sometimes specials. they also have various special events throughout the year. Service is quick and friendly.

Been again for lunch recently and an evening meal. The aubergine curry and the Dahl are still brilliant

I've been eating here for about five years. Great dosa, thali and good veg and vegan food. Staff understand the difference and are very helpful in advising on what is fine to eat. The food is always excellent. The service is excellent too. On special occasions (eg mother's/father's day) may have a set menu that isn't vegan friendly. The annual harvest feast is amazing.
