Masala Cafe Indian Cuisine - Newark

My friends and I came here by chance and eating was honestly amazing. I have the spicy boneless chicken biryani and it was definitiw a 10/10. my friends got the chicken Vindaloo and lamb masala they loved. the garlic naan was beautiful and soft with crispy edges. we are not Indian, so we are not able to talk about the authenticity of taste, but the chefs and server are Indian, so I doubt that eating is not also authentic Indian. the dishes can look a bit small from the pictures, but the portions were extremely reasonable for the price. the three of us were in the position to share each dish equal. the service was also amazing.

I sat with my beautiful lady today. we chased masala dosa. was never here before. server are nice, the meals were very well prepared. the food was delicious! I had chicken 65 w/ naan, 2 masala dosa, idyllic with the samba sauce. great! o and chicken samosa. everything I ordered came fresh and tasty. will return very soon with more people.

Was visiting out of town and this was the nearest desi spot from where I could get bryani. Ordered two bryani and haka noodles. The chicken bryani was amazing and spicy. And the serving was really great. One pack was enough for two people. Also packed the items very very nicely for my to go order. They also offered me a free mango lassi! I loved their food and service.
