Santa Fe Taqueria - Newark

Food was terribly prepped, cold, I had the Barbacoa dish, the rice was soggy, the refried bean wasnt fried at all, the meat was the only thing that had flavor even that was cold and watery.

The super burrito is stuffed with beans and rice and if your lucky youll get some meat in there

It doesn't get any better than this. I often order food for my fiancée while I'm at work, and she never has a complaint. Plus, when I get home, I get to enjoy the leftovers since I usually order a variety of dishes. I'm not complaining—everything is consistently good and fresh. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving Mexican food in Newark, especially since, in my opinion, there aren't many great options around. I’m originally from San Jose and have only been in Newark for a year, so I know my way around good Mexican cuisine, and I give this place five stars!

Super Burrito and California Burrito were really delicious. The horchata was excellent as well. I was just disappointed that there were no straws or napkins provided. But aside from that, everything was great!

The Chiles Rellenos were delicious! The rice and beans served on the side were great as well. My son enjoyed his California burrito but mentioned there was too much fat in the carnitas. I told him that’s where the flavor comes from—he'll learn! The horchata was also tasty. I can always tell a restaurant is good if they have tasty rice and beans, along with a decent horchata. This place definitely meets the mark!
