Woodfuel Grill - Newberry

Well known rocky for years. stopped on 18th October 2022, was eating and service excellent as always. the disappointment was in the cleanliness of the restaurant. the table had at the end a layer or two dust at the window. it also had stalls on the table in the middle. the back rests on the benches where dirty black and not had been cleaned in a good time. the windows had not been cleaned in a because, small children handprints could be seen over them. I stopped too soon.

Eating was on point atmosphere was great service was fast and efficient I had the club with black eyed peas and squash casserolevegetarian options: they can definitely see a vegetarian plate with their sweet green squash cassserole okra black eyed peas and many other options child-friendliness: there are opportunities to sit in the interior and barbehave parking

Had come here before and unfortunately felt invisible, were ignored at the bar despite what I believe to be my overall pleasant demeanor and non threatening appearance and left.But my feelings didn't stay hurt forever, so I came came back to try Trivia Night on a Thursday eve and had a much, much better experience.Service this time was excellent and they even made helpful suggestions on the best beer deal. We ordered the BBQ Chop Salad which comes with the whole chop, separate from the salad. This did not deter from the yuminess of that chop. Also had a side of fries which are an interesting cross between a steak fry and a curly fry. Interesting in a good way.The trivia was incredibly well run and the host Bill is a pro.The bottom line is we'll be back again for more trivia and good fun and totally recommend you give Thursday nights a try at 7 PM.

Used to be a great place to eat, has fallen down to where if you aren 't in the bar you get forgotten.Last night 3 salads ordered were forgotten and didn 't arrive until after dinners were served and half eaten. Drinks didn 't get refilled until late.Then when our cups were filled to go, not only did the waitress not know what was in them, she had no idea who 's cup was who 's.No management help anywhere around.For $125 dinner you should at least have decent wait staffAlso noticed on most of the recent reviews, the replies from restaurant, is just hope it 's better next time . Best suggestion is just eat somewhere else

I recently called about 5 different BBQ restaurants in the area to get quotes on a last minute catering order for about 50 people and woodyard was the best deal by far!! Scott was so helpful in helping me decide what to order and it was so easy to contact them. I placed the order with only 48 hour notice and they were happy to take care of me. The food was amazing and there was sooo much! My guests loved it! I will definitely use their carryout and takeout service again.
