Fantastic welcome every time by larger than life Simon Family with the best fish chips , and mushy peas of course in the outerwest of Newcastle …..right in the centre of Chapel House shopping centre. ….fish freshly cooked to order and large, of the very highest quality with “scranshings” and marvellously cooked chips ! Actually even the normal fish chips is too much for me alone but shred with wife Olga -well done for excellent service, great quality and excellent value for money. A wonderful and easily accessible community asset.

Ordered two battered sausages and chips, received them and one of them wasn’t battered, when I corrected the staff member that I asked for battered he went in a huff and was muttering things under his breath to his co workers and tried to undermine me and as I left I was scowled at and they were clearly talking about it. When you’re paying money in to a business and they get your order wrong you have every right to correct them and not receive slander back from them. The nasty scowls and muttering of nasty remarks are a good enough reason to never visit Chapel House chippy.

Ordered a munchies box, worst one we’ve had! Kebab meat was awful and cold, and chicken tikka pieces were fatty and chewy. First time we’ve ordered from here and definitely the last
