Barge Inn Tavern - Newport

The atmosphere and music selection was nice. The Punch Plus a shot added a extra kick. The food selection was good. I had the Chili cheeseburger and curly fries. It was delicious, but it's an open face sandwich, not a regular burger that I was expectinglike back home. Still very good experience and great server.

I love the Barge Inn, and I love the name. Everyone has great energy and you just can't help having fun. The burgers are great and the cook on Sunday is a real hoot, not to mention a great cook! Thanks for a fun time! ?????????

We were doing the tourist thing in the Newport Bayfront when we stopped in for lunch. The service was superb and the food excellent! Women's college volleyball was on the TV as an added bonus ????! But the best thing of all was how reasonably pricedthe food was. I tipped extra with the savings! I couldn't help but see several **** Mary's being made at the bar while wewere there. It must be a popular drink there. Next time I'm in town I will have to try one or two because I'm definitely goingto be a repeat customer.

I hadn't been to the Barge Inn (boasting to be the Home of Wino's, Dingbats, Riff Raff), in about 10yrs. Forty years ago it was a little fisherman's hangout with plenty of spicy customers???? Today it is modern looking and very nice inside. I don'tknow if it still gets spicy, but maybe I'll visit on a Friday night to check ???? Had a bacon cheese burger fries, and it wasthe best! Definitely will be going back! Wow!
