Best seafood on the docks. They steam all their food and no frying or anything else. Amazing food. Staff was super friendly.

This cute little hideaway was worth it! The owner runs a lovely little place with great decor and excellent food. They seem to be known for the cioppino and I can see why. Savory with a bit of kick and lots of seafood mixed in. The pasta version came withoysters. Definitely will be back to try more.

This restaurant has been in this location for 25 years. The food is absolutely spectacular. We just visited and found out they will be moving, as a cheese factory is going to be built. What? The City of Newport is allowing a cheese factory to be built inthat historic port area!?! Shame on Newport!!

Ok.. so I took a while in posting this so I could take a more objective stance. First off, this place is, Way over rated! Menu looks phenominal online, as a Chef, in my mind I said challenge accepted lets see what they got for culinary delicacies. Initialbad first impression, got there five minutes before posted openening for the evening, noticed a sign saying they could open aFew minutes late. saw the proprietor take notice of us and scurry into the back. Standing in front with my kids waiting to belet in, approximately 20 mins after opening she came back out to the front to let us in. (I should also mention my son is CrabCrazy and wanted only 1 menu item. Dungeness crab entree, I got the fresh fish entree (snapper and mac and cheese for myyoungest. This totaled out in the end to 96 with tip, a shirley temple and coffee for myself. 8 mentioned before she went backto lay the order on the cook that I was a chef and would review. I considered that fair warning. So after a few mins of beinginside a nice group of 4 seniors came in and another set of 2 a few mins later. That 's when myself and 2 kids started beingignored almost entirely. When the food came out another 25-30 mins later I was a little shocked by what was on the plate, notknowing the price I let it slide and thought there is crab and snapper what could go wrong. Though I was pretty annoyed when shesaid it was yummy special mac and cheese, like I 'm dumb enough to believe it wasn 't a kraft knock off! I did taste it, tastedlike family value or one of those off brands. On to the fish and crab, the fish was tasty, hence the 2 stars above, the crabwas overcooked or canned(I couldn 't decide on that and a pretty small portion of crab meat for the price paid, my 6 y/o washappy with the crab, I knew the difference.
