Lemonade - Newport Beach

This place was amazing! I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy and didn't think I'd enjoy the food here. My wife ordered a meal but I passed. After taking a few nibbles of her food I ended up ordering a plate for myself. It was incredible! The only problem is there aren't any restaurants near where I live. Next time we're in the area of Newport (Fashion Island) or Irvine we will definitely be eating there.

Good rice bowls and sandwiches. Love the combinations from the menu.

Inedible. I ordered the mango chicken and I could not eat it. It tasted like the color brown and then my tongue just burned. There’s no way this food was prepared today. The salad was limp and bleached of color. The Brussel sprouts had zero flavor. And the sauce was also tasteless. There were 4 tiny chunks of overcooked mango in the entire thing. I tasted zero mango otherwise. My friend had the ahi avocado poke bowl and there were 5 little chunks of ahi in the whole bowl. I made her stop eating it because with food this poor tasting I was worried about the safety of eating raw fish at such an establishment. Service was swift and helpful. The cashier made the bowls to order … meaning they were assembled from premade salads and put onto a plate. Super cute location but oh my gosh the food was truly nasty.

Very nice wholesome lunch! The lemonade as great as well! I got the braised beef with mashed potatoes with some sautéed veggies. Wish we had one up in the Seattle area!

The worse customer service ever. There was a long line and just one person was serving and he was super slow take his time . I didn’t understand for almost twenty people in line just one person was scheduled to work on Saturday.
