Salsa's Mexican Grill - Newport News

Today I went to eat at Salsa’s. The food there is always great but they have a tendency to seat black folks in the back of the restaurant. I normally just tell them where I want to sit. Today was a little different because the restaurant side away from the bar had nothing but Caucasian people, the waitress walked me and my friend a war veteran to the back of the restaurant, walking pass numerous empty seats. To an area all the way in the back with no one else seated back there. Although I again pointed out a booth that was acceptable he got frustrated and decided to bypass eating. Do better Salsa’s don’t take our business for granted.

Trash trash and more trash. Next time I’ll walk behind the bar and serve myself.

Enjoyed my experience. Very good service. Food was great. All of the usual menu items. Seems like a fun place with late night salsa dancing on certain night. I'll be back!

Nicely decorated Mexican restaurant but food is fine (nothing outstanding)
