A baker who definitely recommend to visit when they are in newquay. the staff and the service were pleasant and friendly. the prices normal and the cornian cake, where pretty tasty especially the one with spinat and cheese. all of them where delicious I totally recommend it. in the pictures you can see the prices.
You definitely must try the steak and ale lamb pasties, as well as the traditional ones. At two medium-sized pasties for just £5.00, you get great quality along with an excellent deal!
As I walked past the bakery, I noticed a sign proclaiming that it had won a pastry award, and let me tell you, it doesn't lie! I tried a maizbrei straight from the oven, and it felt like heaven for just £3.40—plus, they're quite large! The employee was very friendly, and I will definitely be returning for another amazing maizbrei, cooked to perfection!
I wasn't very impressed with this restaurant. The staff were not unfriendly, but they seemed a bit disengaged. I ordered the chicken Penang paper, which was good; it had a nice balance of spice and flavor, and the texture was right. The baked crust was generally nice, though some parts of the edge were a bit hard to bite into. The entrance is accessible without steps, and the door was already open upon arrival. Although the restaurant looks large from the outside, the dining area is relatively small and surrounded by display cabinets. I might consider coming back, but I would advise caution.
